What You'll DoThe Configuration Analyst II or III plays a critical role in advancing automation, scalability, and operational efficiency across our Nonqualified (NQ) business. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Alteryx workflows that support NQ onboarding, conversions, and other key business processes across the organization.
The successful candidate will partner closely with business teams to understand operational complexities and translate business needs into scalable, technology-driven solutions. This individual will also help identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and digital automation tools, to improve quality, reduce manual effort, mitigate risk, and enhance both employee and customer experiences.
This is an ideal position for a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, independently learning new technologies, and driving process improvements from concept to implementation. This individual is naturally curious, highly self-motivated, and excited by the challenge of building solutions where a roadmap may not already exist.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain Alteryx workflows supporting NQ onboarding, conversions, and operational processes across multiple teams.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains using Alteryx and other technology tools.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand operational needs, and translate those needs into effective workflow solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing workflows to ensure reliability, accuracy, and scalability.
- Document workflow configurations, business requirements, testing results, and operational procedures.
- Serve as the department Alteryx subject matter expert, partnering with IT Architecture, Data Governance, and other key stakeholders to ensure workflows are built, maintained, and used responsibly in alignment with enterprise standards.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and digital tools that can improve operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate across teams while maintaining the ability to independently manage assigned projects and deliverables.
Who You Are
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, or education.
- Working knowledge of business processes, financial services products, and supporting systems.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology platforms and tools independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and create practical solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and execute with limited direction.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across business and operational teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Preferred Qualifications — Skills that will help you stand out
- Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting Alteryx workflows.
- Working knowledge of non-qualified deferred compensation plans, including plan design complexities, Section 409A requirements, onboarding processes, and related administrative impacts.
- Experience with workflow automation, business process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Excel/VBA, Power Query, Power Automate, or similar technologies.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

- Des Moines, IA: $73,150- $120,650 / year
- Charlotte, NC: $ - $77,000-127,000 / year
- Raleigh, NC: $ - $77,000-127,000 / year
Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
