Position Overview: The role provides critical support to the DCGS-MC Program by delivering comprehensive testing, evaluation, cybersecurity, configuration management, and quality assurance expertise across the system's acquisition life cycle. This position ensures that system capabilities are developed, assessed, secured, and documented in alignment with program requirements and established engineering standards.
The individual in this role participates in key technical and programmatic forums-including WIPTs, working groups, CCBs, and engineering review boards-to support informed decision-making and program alignment. Responsibilities include implementing cybersecurity practices from design through operations, overseeing configuration management processes, and ensuring adherence to QA/QC and PPQA standards to maintain the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of program deliverables.
This position requires extensive experience supporting C4ISR Programs of Record and the ability to apply advanced technical expertise to sustain the readiness, security, and effectiveness of DCGS-MC systems. A high-level security clearance and strong professional certifications are essential to successfully supporting this mission-critical program.
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide testing and evaluation (T&E) support to DCGS-MC, including participation in WIPTs, working groups, CCBs, and engineering review groups.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices throughout the acquisition life cycle, including design, development, testing, fielding, and operation.
- Support configuration management (CM) for DCGS-MC program, managing activities related to CM planning, baseline management, configuration identification, control, audits, formal reviews, and documentation.
- Execute quality management practices, including the implementation of a QA/QC program and adherence to established PPQA processes to ensure documentation, supplies, products, and services meet requirements before submission to DCGS-MC leadership.
Requirements: - 5 years of experience with a Master's Degree, or 14 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Design, Software Development, or Computer Networks.
- 5 years of technical experience in support of a C4ISR Program of Record (PoR) such as DCGS-MC All Source, DCGS-MC GEOINT, or DCGS-MC SIGINT.
- Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred: - Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP).
- Microsoft role-based certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Applicator Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)).
- Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP).
- CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
