POSITION OVERVIEW:This is full-time position as a Computer Engineer. This position will provide support at a client facility in the Chantilly, VA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing technical information from multiple sources to drive client missions and quick-turn tasks in fast-paced environments.
- Aid in the design and implementation of machine learning and data engineering techniques for application to advanced client missions in science and technology (S&T) fields.
- C/C++ development that supports critical customer missions
- Applying concepts from newer compiled languages such as Go, or Rust to embedded development.
- Developing for real time operating systems (RTOS) and interesting embedded systems.
- Applying understanding of software development to the analysis of compiled custom operating systems by learning reverse engineering principles.
- Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary environment while working independently and leading tasks on time and on budget.
- Independently propose, develop, and execute creative solutions to unique problems
- Providing thorough and completed products that require minor revisions and/or editing.
- Proactively managing expectations and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving, agile environment.
- Maintaining excellent communication and interaction with both co-located and geographically diverse team members
PREFERRED PROFILE: - Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with (3+) years of experience, or master's degree in related field with (1+) year of experience, or Ph.D.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- Strong understanding of embedded software development in C/C++
- Experience or desire to code in Go or Rust.
- Experience in national security, defense, and/or intelligence communities.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
