ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support sales with new proposals, including costing, design efforts and scheduling
Participate in facility layout and process flow
Develops and implements process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments
Analyzes manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and output
Collaborates with program engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods
Works closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement manufacturing build plans and create technical training for employees
Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products, related fixtures & tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost
Creates and maintains accurate documentation of tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and concepts in accordance with the manufacturing engineering standards
Provides engineering support in production environment to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems
Supports company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and manufacturing practices
Performs production readiness evaluation and producibility assessment of all engineering changes.
