Position Description:

Supports and assists the administration and support of cybersecurity services for Physical Security Engineering Infrastructures. Assists with system requirements, gathering and implementing technical solutions under the direction of senior staff or management. Contributes to the fulfillment of regulatory compliance objectives, including NERC requirements, through the compilation and validation of required evidence. Serves as a subject matter expert for generating, modifying, and evaluating adherence of system policies, procedures, and guidelines. Responsibilities include operational support for firewall management, server, client, and appliance operating systems, change management, cybersecurity maintenance, malware protection, and patch management. Assists with risk and vulnerability assessments, implement video and access control systems configuration, installation, permissions support, network monitoring, and performance assessments under direction of senior staff or management. Works under the general direction of senior team members or management, following established procedures and priorities. Must possess solid technical proficiency and strong attention to detail, with a willingness to troubleshoot and be creative to resolve complex issues and collaborate with team members on tasks. Some self-management is expected for directed priorities.

Essential Job Tasks:

• Assists and\or supports maintaining system components (infrastructure, hardware, applications, appliances, cabling, etc.) necessary for the networking and functionality of security operations across control centers, generation stations, substations, security operations centers, water operations, and/or other operational environments with guidance of senior staff or management.
• Installs, configures, and supports physical access control systems (PACS) and Corporate security infrastructure following established procedures.
• Securing and protecting cyber assets and systems by executing routine cybersecurity maintenance, malware protection, patch management, and vulnerability assessments following established procedures.
• Supports the administration of system baselining, firewall management, and change management activities by executing tasks and documenting actions according to established procedures and processes.
• Contributes to NERC compliance objectives by gathering, compiling, and validating required evidence, and ensuring adherence to established system policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• May serve as an SME for specific requirements or standards.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED + 6 years directly related experience
• Must have strong attention to detail and documentation experience
• Must have ability to collaborate cross-departmental activities and conduct daily interactions with business partners in mission-critical environments
• Must have excellent communication, multitasking, documentation, and planning skills
• Knowledge of the following is highly preferred:
• Infrastructure hardware/software - Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco and Mikrotik switches, Cisco and Mikrotik routers, Windows Server and Client operating systems, Enterprise UPS
• Networking - TCP/IP, Ethernet, Subnetting, VLANS, Troubleshooting
• System Monitoring - Tripwire Log Center, Security cameras (Avigilon), DVRs, ACUs(Avigilon & Amag Symmetry), Badge Readers
• Cybersecurity - Nessus, Nmap, Symantec Antivirus, WSUS
• Applications/Backend Support - Active Directory, SQL Database administration, Backup and restoration solutions, NAS, Ubiquiti

Compensation Information:
$84,180 - $130,770 (min. - mid.)

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications.
