Description

About the role:

As our business continues to evolve globally, we are investing in the people, processes, and governance structures needed to support responsible growth. We are seeking a Compliance Program Manager to take a lead role in that effort, building and strengthening our compliance program.

This is a broad, hands-on compliance position for someone who enjoys variety, supports assigned projects, and is comfortable operating independently while partnering closely with legal, HR, finance, operations, and business teams.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, you will support the design, implementation, and day to day administration of key elements of Ampere's compliance program. In addition to work on the core compliance framework, you will also provide critical support for corporate governance and legal operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants exposure to a wide range of compliance and ethics issues while helping build a program that will evolve alongside a rapidly growing technology company. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.

What you'll achieve:

  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the company's compliance program under the direction of the CCO.
  • Assist with periodic compliance risk assessments to identify key risks and inform program priorities.
  • Update and maintain compliance-related policies, procedures, and guidance materials.
  • Coordinate and deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives for employees.
  • Conduct third-party risk management processes, including due diligence and risk reviews.
  • Manage the intake and triage of the company's ethics and compliance helpline. Support internal investigations of compliance and ethics matters, from planning and fact-gathering to reporting and remediation.
  • Support compliance monitoring, testing, and internal reporting to key senior stakeholders. Prepare routine metrics and reporting materials for management and the Board of Directors on program performance and key risk indicators.
  • Assist with legal entity management and subsidiary governance, including tracking corporate records and managing ongoing reporting requirements for key stakeholders.
  • Track regulatory developments and emerging compliance risks relevant to the company's business and industry and help translate them into practical operational requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the company to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical business conduct.

About you:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in compliance, or in a related field such as legal operations, risk management, investigations, or internal audit.
  • Experience in an in-house legal/compliance function, law firm, consulting firm, accounting firm, or government/regulatory organization.
  • Familiarity with key compliance risk areas, such as anti-corruption, third-party risk management, information security, trade compliance, privacy, competition law, and/or corporate governance, particularly in the context of the technology or semiconductor industries.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and drive work to completion with limited oversight.
  • Sound judgment, impeccable integrity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions.

What we'll offer:

At Ampere we believe in taking care of our employees and providing a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, cash long-term incentive, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $119,000 and $179,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $133,500 and $200,500.

Our benefits include health, wellness, and financial programs that support employees through every stage of life.

Benefit highlights include:

  • Premium medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, as well as income protection and a 401K retirement plan, so that you can feel secure in your health and financial future.
  • Unlimited Flextime and 10+ paid holidays so that you can embrace a healthy work-life balance.

A variety of healthy snacks, energizing espresso, and refreshing drinks to keep you fueled and focused throughout the day.

And there is much more than compensation and benefits. At Ampere, we foster an inclusive culture that empowers our employees to do more and grow more. We are excited to share more about our career opportunities with you through the interview process.
