What You'll Do

Join our Benefits & Protection - Workplace Benefits Compliance team as a Compliance Advisor supporting regulatory excellence in the group insurance space! You'll partner with business leaders to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and help enhance our compliance testing programs.

  • Advise business partners and compliance leadership on complex legal, regulatory, and operational issues.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and targeted testing across Workplace Benefits products.
  • Analyze compliance data and provide insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Review and strengthen compliance controls and business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical, risk-aware solutions.
  • Assist in preparing for and responding to regulatory exams and other inquiries.
  • Evaluate insurance operations, including Third Party Administration testing.
  • Partner with the business to help design creative solutions for complex customer needs and business processes.
  • Participate on highly visible special projects critical to business unit and corporate growth initiatives.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to the compliance program.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with colleagues throughout the enterprise.
Who You Are
  • 6+ years of compliance experience within a financial services organization, including:
    • 2+ years in compliance risk testing.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required; JD or MBA preferred and may substitute for some required experience.
  • Deep knowledge of group insurance regulations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including regulatory correspondence.
  • Proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel 1 6 times per year.

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. The following locations are examples of market-specific salary ranges across different geographies.

  • Wichita, KS: $104,400 - $140,400 / year
  • Des Moines, IA: $110,200 - $148,200 / year
  • Charlotte, NC: $116,000 - $156,000 / year
  • Chicago/Minneapolis: $127,600 - $171,600 / year
  • Los Angeles/New York City: $139,200 - $187,200 / year
Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
