At Spectrum, the Compensation Manager I plays a critical role in designing and supporting compensation programs that align with our goals and talent needs. How You'll Make an Impact- Analyze and model compensation data to evaluate programs and address business needs
- Monitor and recommend improvements to compensation plans, policies, processes and guidelines to reflect market trends
- Assist in designing, preparing and maintaining compensation models for salary planning, merit increases and variable pay programs
- Respond to inquiries and requests regarding compensation matters through department email accounts
- Create communication strategies and partner with HR Communications to support compensation initiatives
- Support the year-end compensation process and training requirements for compensation programs
- Serve as a consultative partner on complex compensation projects with business stakeholders and HR teams
- Identify appropriate actions for compensation projects, ensuring timely resolution and delivery
- Develop, implement and administer salary structures, incentive plans, merit increases and program audits
- Work proactively to ensure clear communication of compensation activities across Spectrum
- Participate in cross-functional team projects and support ad hoc analysis requests
- Partner with HR Technology to ensure HRMS systems meet compensation needs and reflect updates
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and generate recommendations for broad-based and executive roles
- Perform job evaluations, review job descriptions and provide recommendations on job levels and grading
- Organize and maintain compensation files and records
- Coordinate with HR, Accounting, Legal and other functional areas on compensation matters
- Serve as an auxiliary resource for managing long-term incentive programs and other compensation initiatives
- Participate in ongoing evaluation of processes and procedures, staying informed of compensation trends and regulations

Bachelor degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience

4-6 years of experience in the design and administration of compensation programs

Demonstrated knowledge of compensation fundamentals including design principles, administration and strategic planning
