Community Outeach Specialist

The Opportunity:

Assist an Intelligence Community agency with tracking, monitoring, and making recommendations on speaker engagements for leaders across the agency. Work across divisions to ensure the paperwork is filled out and sent to the appropriate stakeholder in a timely manner. Manage speaker requests and support the agency with planning for conferences and assisting with other public affairs activities. Identify speakers, collect presentations, prepare a conference communications plan, and write news and feature articles related to the conference or other identified topics.


You Have:   

  • 3+ years of experience in an event planning or communications role
  • Experience handling logistics for conferences, including communications planning, identifying speakers, and analyzing a budget
  • Experience working in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-manage tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a variety of audiences, including senior leaders and executives
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience writing articles, blogs, newsletters, and social media posts for internal and external audiences
  • Possession of strong organizational skills

Clearance:

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
