Heatherwood is seeking a
Community Manager to lead our Sales and Service team for our NYC, Brooklyn, and Queens communities. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient property operations, delivering exceptional resident satisfaction, and achieving financial and occupancy goals and ensures that the community operates in alignment with company objectives while fostering a positive and vibrant resident experience.
Requirements
Responsibilities Will Include:- Establish community sales goals and coach the leasing team to achieve them.
- Execute sales, marketing, and operational activities to drive occupancy and retention.
- Manage the financial performance of the property, including budgeting and expense control.
- Develop and monitor programs to maximize revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and control costs.
- Oversee leasing operations, including renewals, move-ins, transfers, and move-outs.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the competitive marketplace.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute resident activities and lifestyle programming.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire team members to achieve professional growth and success.
- Collaborate with the Leasing and Revenue Director on pricing strategies.
- Willingness to travel to our Main Office located in Commack, NY, as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional resident experiences.
- 3+ years of property management experience required.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in multi-site or large community management.
- Familiarity with SuiteSpot and RentCafe systems.
- Bilingual proficiency.
Education:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Salary Description
$75,000 to $115,000
