Job Summary

The Community Health Program Manager will play a pivotal role in designing,implementingand managing programs aimed at preventive health, social determinants of health, and community health for all Kansans. The program manager will collaborate with local,stateand national health experts, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, on relevant health issues. This position willleverageexisting data tools and wellness programs, as well as research and recommendations, to enhance health outcomes across the state.

  • Program Management and Development: Manage programming, technical guidance, stakeholder engagement, and other special projects.

  • Collaboratively design and launch innovative programs and initiatives that address customer needs and market demands. Create program frameworks, defineobjectives, andestablishperformance metrics.

  • Resource Coordination: Manage project resources, including technology,dataand financial assets. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient use of resources andtimelyproject delivery.

  • Strategy Execution: Implement community health strategies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments tooptimizeoutcomes.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate regularly with local,stateand national health experts, as well as other internal and external stakeholders to meet program deliverables.

  • Resource Coordination: Manage project resources, including technology,dataand financial assets. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient use of resources andtimelyproject delivery.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all programscomply withrelevant regulations and company policies. Prepare regular reports on program performance, including impact assessments and financial analyses, ensuring outcomes meet goals andobjectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in preventive health, social determinants of health, and health equity, as well as other relevant health trends which couldimpactKansans. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance program effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Ability to successfully manage, organize and prioritize multiple projects/priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in public or community health preferred; bachelors degree in communications, public relations, economics, education, business, finance, or related area of study, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.

  • Two years of experience in public health, economic or community development, or health policy related fields preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Normal office setting

  • Up to 25% travel (must have andmaintaina valid drivers license)

  • Must be able topush/pull/lift upto 30 pounds

$99,440- $124,300
