The Role:
The Community Development Manager/Account Executive drives growth within an assigned territory by developing and nurturing relationships with community-based referral sources, health plan partners, and other key organizations. This role generates leads, referrals, and admissions through primarily in-field outreach while educating community partners on available Community Supports services.
The Community Development Manager develops strategic territory plans, builds new referral relationships, and uses performance insights to achieve established sales and growth goals while representing the organization and its services within the community.
Primary Responsibilities- Generate leads, referrals, and admissions through in-field and virtual outreach to health plans, healthcare organizations, social service agencies, government organizations, and other community partners.
- Prospect and develop new referral relationships within the assigned territory, consistently scheduling meetings and conducting educational presentations to increase awareness and utilization of services.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans using established sales methodologies, performance data, and SMART actions to achieve or exceed growth goals and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and MCO partners, serving as a knowledgeable resource on available services and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate lead, contact, and activity information in Salesforce while providing market feedback and partnering internally to strengthen outreach strategies and messaging.
This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 1-2x per year, and in the field 80% of time. Work Schedule: Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Depending on the position and business needs, employees may be required to work any scheduled shift within these operating hours.
What You Bring to the Table:
Qualifications- BA/BS degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
- Experience with prospecting, relationship development, or community-based outreach.
- Current, active driver's license and applicable automobile insurance.
- Ability to regularly travel throughout an assigned territory and spend approximately 80% of working time in customer-facing field activities.
