Job DescriptionThe Communications Specialist will develop communications strategies and create materials to align stakeholders, ensure engagement, and support program goals. The specialist will develop and implement a comprehensive program communications strategy. The specialist will create various communications materials, including newsletters, presentations, and reports, tailored to different stakeholder groups. The specialist will manage stakeholder engagement activities, including organizing and facilitating stakeholder meetings and events. The specialist will develop and maintain a stakeholder management plan, identifying key stakeholders and their communication needs. The specialist will collaborate with technical teams to translate complex information into clear, concise messages for various audiences. The specialist will manage the program's internal and external communication channels, including websites, social media, and collaboration platforms. The specialist will measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies as needed. The specialist will support change management initiatives by developing targeted communications to facilitate adoption of new processes or technologies. The specialist will stay informed about best practices in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.
Must have:- Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience developing program communications, stakeholder engagement, and preparing technical communications material
Security Clearance:- Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position
