You will sit on the Premium Products and Experiences communication pod within the Banking and Premium Products Chief of Staff team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing internal communications that connect leaders and their teams to the Premium Product strategy and their teams to their Enterprise partners. By joining our team, you’ll be expected to push the envelope in driving the narrative around Premium Products & Travel and Loyalty, Marketing & Spend Experiences.

We’re looking for an experienced, innovative communicator, who can bring fresh ideas to the table for how to connect leaders in new ways and create meaningful communications that promote associate engagement and drive value for the business. You will be responsible for evaluating opportunities, driving communications strategies from start to finish, and preparing content for both internal and external audiences. You should be knowledgeable in providing communications counsel that is backed by channel metrics and associate feedback, comfortable and well-versed in speaking to leadership teams, and willing to partner with HR, chiefs of staff, Public Relations and other stakeholders to most effectively drive communications. Additionally, you’ll support large scale projects, events, and internal campaigns. Judgment, influencing and problem solving are your superpowers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy that helps build the head of Loyalty, Marketing & Spend brand internally and externally, and brings the Premium Product & Experiences narrative to life.

  • Drive a steady drumbeat of internal storytelling through digital/video content, executive gatherings, and large-scale associate events.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to other executive communicators and chiefs of staff to plan and prepare effective, thoughtful, and engaging internal communications that educate, inform, connect with, and inspire leaders and employees.

  • Provide counsel on communicating business strategy, elevating leadership profiles, managing issues, and implementing corporate initiatives.

  • When necessary, lead change management communications in support of the business.

  • Draft leader talking points and review presentations.

  • Evaluate performance for communications based on real-time metrics and other leading key performance indicators; recommend refinements to communications strategies, messaging, and new feedback mechanisms, as needed, based on ongoing assessments.

  • Partner with and influence internal partners as needed in the best interests of the business and its employees.

Here’s what we are looking for in you:

  • Great judgment with the ability to work with a high level of autonomy.

  • Strong business acumen and customer-orientation and proven track record of collaborative work relationships.

  • Excellent writing and story-telling skills.

  • The ability to distill complex content into clear, concise, and engaging communications.

  • Experience managing issues, crisis communications, and organizational change communications.

  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with an ability to consistently execute multiple, and sometimes competing, activities and complex projects to high quality conclusion, on-time.

  • Highly motivated - an eagerness to learn and become an expert on the business to better inform your communications strategy and deliverables.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies to drive organizational change and create feedback loops between leaders and subordinates

  • At least 5 years of experience in partnering with c-suite executives on communications that support organizational objectives

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, writing, or public relations

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, technology, or other highly regulated industry
