Job SummaryWe are looking for a
Communications Generalist who will develop and implement internal and external communications focused on/within the Data Centers vertical for the Commercial HVAC Americas business.
The individual will implement communications strategies that help achieve critical business objectives, build and protect our brand reputation, and enhance our position as an industry leader - including employee and change communications, thought leadership/public relations, and media relations.
Reporting to the Communications Leader, Commercial HVAC Americas, this role will partner across communications, marketing, executives, and other functions to align internal and external communications with business growth objectives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.

Responsibilities- Leads or supports data center communications content/message development for internal and external audiences
- Supports development of select public relations projects and initiatives to include drafting news releases, messaging, speakership support, on site support, etc.
- Leads or supports critical manufacturing communications at plants that serve data center customers
- Supports integration of acquired businesses in the data center space via change, employee and other stakeholder communications
- Flexes as needed to support communications and public relations needs outside of data center space, as part of a small, agile team
QualificationsExperience:- 5+ years of professional experience in communications/public relations
- Experience developing and implementing strategic, integrated communications plans tied directly to business objectives.
- Experience with merger and acquisition communications a plus.
Leadership & Collaboration:- Strong ability to partner, consult, and influence stakeholders across organizational levels.
- Must be a team player, possess analytical and "client service" skills, be an innovative thinker, and a self-starter.
- Active listening techniques to identify high impact opportunities for communications support.
Skills & Attributes:- Strong reporting and interviewing skills, excellent writing, and storytelling abilities.
- Must excel and thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Creative and operational mindset with strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
- Ability to think critically, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
- Results-oriented, self-driven, and internally motivated.
