Qualifications

• 5+ years in MEP construction and commissioning management
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems
• Understanding of applicable Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Codes
• Skill in managing relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Experience in commissioning large-scale Mission Critical projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Review Contract Documents and suggest improvements for MEP trades
• Ensure MEP submittals and shop drawings align with project specifications
• Maintain positive relations with internal and external project teams
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers for seamless MEP integration
• Manage MEP subcontractors from construction through to turnover
• Implement commissioning processes at all project levels
• Facilitate quality assurance for owner-furnished equipment
• Manage Commissioning Software (CxAlloy) through checklist and issue management
• Approve MOPS for energizations and related processes
• Conduct equipment walkdowns for inspections and approvals
• Develop and manage the Commissioning schedule with subcontractors and vendors
• Coordinate schedules with the Commissioning Authority (CxA)
• Lead meetings related to turnover and commissioning
• Mentor and supervise project staff as needed
