Full Job Description
The Global Technology Sourcing Team is a dynamic and innovative group that drives technical innovation, high quality standards, and cost-savings via a customized supply chain. As part of this team, the Commercial Sourcing Manager plays a critical role in driving strategic sourcing decisions and managing supplier relationships for Custom Mechanical/Thermal/Power categories, supporting AI, compute, and storage hardware products. As the primary commercial sourcing and operations contact, this individual will develop and lead negotiation and sourcing strategies, partnering with Meta project, engineering, and technology teams to drive technical innovation, high quality standards, and cost-savings via a customized supply chain. This role is required to interface directly with vendors and ODM partners in the region while partnering with our global team to achieve operational results across Meta's world-wide infrastructure while partnering with our global team to achieve operational results across Meta's worldwide infrastructure. Serving as a detail-oriented operational leader of the sourcing organization in-region, this role has significant leadership responsibilities including driving sources of truth, responding to the most pressing operational needs across AI, Compute and Storage, and escalating/driving solutions with leadership at Meta and our vendor partners.

Responsibilities

Maintain current knowledge of the technology and industry trends for the relevant technologies/categories and perform competitive analysis on relevant products
• Vendor management (score card, business reviews, tactical and strategic relationship): Develop and maintain productive relationships with executive management at key suppliers. Influence supplier business models, roadmaps, and support to ensure Meta's commercial and technical requirements are met
• Provide commodity and supplier expertise and consulting to design engineering for technology migration and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Drive supplier proposals and RFQs. Resolve all commercial queries arising from the quote process and formalize business awards
• Own expertise in supplier cost and contract negotiations and provide review and input for product development and master supply agreements
• Support product transfer from NPI to mass-production and support sustaining operations
• Drive operational reactions, preventions, and improvements across vendor performance landscape: from long-range readiness to real-time production and delivery. Guide teams and manage the bring-up, validation, launch, manufacturing and deployment of hardware systems
• Develop supplier process improvement plans to improve manufacturing scale, yields, cost and time to deployment in partnership with quality engineering, hardware engineering and sourcing
• Rapidly synthesize and communicate findings to executive teams and proactively identify and resolve potential supply issues that can affect product strategy

Minimum Qualifications
• BA/BS or equivalent in technical or business related field with 10+ years of relevant experience with major mechanical/thermal/power and cable/interconnects categories
• 10+ years of experience in Sourcing Management or Supply Chain Management experience in commercial sourcing roles
• Demonstrated results of improving supply chain and supplier performance, including but not limited to the use of cost models and objective based performance measures
• Proven experience demonstrating analytical and results focused approach
• Experience in managing complex supplier relationships, contracts, and joint development models, as well as experience in leading commercial engagement, prototype sourcing, and development in support of new product development and introduction
• Experience with working and influencing at the executive level to build consensus and drive solutions
• Significant operational experience to understand the relationship between product development roadmaps, demand/supply drivers, manufacturing, production operations, and relationship management
• Experience in planning of New Product Introduction (NPI) pilots, product ramp, sustaining support, and end-of-life cycle for compute & storage hardware products in large-scale environment
• Proven experience achieving major mass production output according to timelines and industry conditions

Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Supply chain-centric operations, commercial and technical experience in hyperscale data centers
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience interfacing with internal and external partners in a complex cross-functional environment
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
