GreenSpark Solar is seeking a Site Supervisor (Level I) and Site Superintendent (Levels II & III) to lead the day-to-day field execution of commercial solar construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project plans and quality standards.
Working closely with Project Managers, Design, subcontractors, customers, utilities, inspectors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), you will coordinate field operations, monitor project progress, resolve jobsite challenges, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
This position may be filled at one of three levels based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership. Level I employees hold the title of Site Supervisor, while Levels II and III hold the title of Site Superintendent. As employees advance through each level, they assume greater responsibility for project oversight, leadership, project complexity, and independent decision-making.
Essential Job Functions & Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily field operations for commercial solar construction projects.
- Lead jobsite activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality expectations.
- Enforce GreenSpark's safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including scheduling work and maintaining project sequencing.
- Partner with Project Management, Design, customers, utilities, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) throughout construction.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Identify field issues and collaborate with the project team to develop solutions.
- Assist with reviewing, documenting, and implementing approved design changes and as-built modifications.
- Support project quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) efforts.
- Assist with project commissioning and final project closeout activities.
- Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional jobsite culture.
Education & Qualifications:
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3+ years of commercial solar construction experience or equivalent education/training.
- Technical knowledge of construction practices, including civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical systems.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and electrical one-line diagrams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and standard computer applications.
- Ability to travel and work at remote project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, or similar material handling equipment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain and rooftops.
- Ability to safely perform physical jobsite activities as required.
- Ability to travel to project sites throughout the region.

- Level I - Site Supervisor: $60,000-$75,000
- Level II - Site Superintendent: $75,000-$90,000
- Level III - Site Superintendent: $90,000-$110,000+
