Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day Our Gas Service Organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Commercial Project Manager (CPM) to join our team of CPMs in the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) Business. In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling, reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our project management organization with the key objective of executing the projects according to our contractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financial guidelines. A strong critical thinking ability and a collaborative approach are critical for success in this role.
How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage the complete financial execution of assigned projects, including financial planning, forecasting, revenue recognition, profit margin optimization, cash flow management, and portfolio performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage commercial risks and opportunities while serving as the primary financial resource for accounting, legal, tax, foreign exchange, and other commercial matters impacting project execution
  • Ensure project execution complies with contractual requirements, IFRS/GAAP standards, internal Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRGs), and corporate governance policies while supporting internal and external audit activities
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to provide commercial guidance, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations that support project execution, profitability, and successful customer outcomes
  • Prepare and present project financial forecasts, portfolio performance updates, executive reports, and management presentations that provide actionable insights and support informed business decisions
  • Collaborate across the broader finance organization to drive process improvements, support digital transformation initiatives, share best practices, and enhance data-driven financial decision-making

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial project management, project finance, financial analysis, business administration, or a related finance role supporting project-based operations
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, cost accounting, corporate finance, revenue recognition, IFRS/GAAP, percentage of completion (PoC) accounting, financial controls, and commercial risk management
  • Experience working with SAP, business intelligence tools, and financial reporting systems, with the ability to independently manage complex financial analyses, project reporting, and forecasting activities
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business decisions and partner effectively across Project Management, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Operations teams
