Full Job Description
Commercial Portfolio Manager III
Lead a portfolio team including establishing consistent processes and procedures to manage the portfolio and execute due diligence for new borrowers. Specifics outlined below:
Collaborate with relationship managers and portfolio managers in the loan structuring of new opportunities and identifying solutions for borrowers' activity.
Create a partnership between relationship managers and portfolio managers to be responsive to client needs as well as communicate bank solutions for borrower issues.
Establish and administer processes and procedures for due diligence for new Commercial Lending borrowers.
Provide direction and oversight for due diligence including general business review, analysis of pertinent financial data and collateral profile, as applicable.
Attend management presentations and/or provide guidance to team members with regards to interviewing prospective clients and obtaining information concerning their business needs, abilities, and earnings, and assess credit risk.
Take ownership of portfolio quality and maintenance. Oversee a team monitoring current loans and customer's credit profile to ensure complete conformity with terms.
Ensure current credit and financial information is obtained as needed and/or that collateral is adequate.
Provide direction for review of financials with customers and provide expert advice as necessary.
Direct accountability for loss prevention; determine necessary action to be taken on all loans, includes providing direction for resolving issues pertaining to substandard and special mention loans.
Remain cognizant of developing trends.
Support employee development and training, counsel, motivate, coach, mentor and provide leadership. 5. Oversee reporting tools to identify portfolio trends, new business credit metrics and prepare various scheduled management reports.
Lead projects and develop new or refine existing efficiencies and processes as required.
Remain current with all applicable regulations and policies.
To be successful in this role, we require the following:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
