Qualifications

• Licensed member of the Florida Bar is a must.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience required, ideally in commercial litigation, professional liability, or employment law.
• Strong academic credentials are important.
• Excellent research and writing skills necessary for success.
• Capable of working independently while also being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Practice in various areas including commercial litigation, professional liability, and employment law.
• Take and defend depositions to support case strategy.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions effectively.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analyze relevant case law.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence for court and client communication.
• Maintain communication with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
