Full Job Description
Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Rochester, NY.

To service new and existing accounts to achieve Agency sales goals and service standards. Responsible for securing the retention of specifically assigned Commercial accounts through marketing responsibilities.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Handle client requests for information, endorsements, forms, and rates for accuracy, recommending changes or amendments.


  • Review and analyze policies, endorsements, forms, and rates for accuracy, recommending changes or amendments.


  • Oversee requests for endorsements, control and preparation of binders, certificates, invoices, automobile identification cards, and similar items.


  • Review tasks on a regularly scheduled basis, re-scheduling, or handling items as appropriate.


  • Maintain account files, overseeing that documents are attached in Image right


  • Order cancellations when requested or required.


  • Assist in clearing omitted items, account differences, and commission differences.


  • Coordinate premium financing needs with the Accounting Department.


  • Keep producers informed of real or potential problems.


  • Correspond with markets and clients, accompanying producers on visits as requested.


Skills & Experience to be Successful:

Required:

  • High school diploma required.


  • Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all commercial lines' insurance coverage.


  • Property & Casualty Agent's or Broker's License, required


Preferred:

  • College Degree in a business-related field.


  • 5+ years general agency/company experience.


Pay Range
38.46 - 48.08 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
