What You'll ContributeBusiness Development & Member Engagement- Proactively engage local businesses to promote commercial lending solutions, and deposit services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business members to support growth and retention.
- Refer clients to internal partners for cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new lending opportunities to expand the commercial portfolio.
- Originate, process, and prepare loan applications for underwriting, approval, and closing.
- Represent the credit union at public events, and industry gatherings.
- Establish strategic partnerships to enhance community visibility and engagement.
- Participate in member-focused seminars and educational events.
- Educate members on the full suite of credit union products and services to deepen engagement.
- Collaborate across departments to increase revenue.
Sales Performance & Goal Achievement- Develop and execute outreach strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess member satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
- Track and report progress toward loan and deposit growth goals.
- Ensure business lending activities generate loan volume, fee income, and deposit growth in alignment with established targets.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, sales activity, and outcomes.
Compliance & Operational Excellence- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Stay current on commercial products, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Ensure adherence to application, underwriting, and disclosure procedures.
- Adhere to all Workers Credit Union policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of member and credit union information.
- Participate in departmental and organizational projects as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Commercial credit training or business banking credit analysis experience preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial lending or relatable experience.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial products, lending practices, and market dynamics.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build trust with members, prospects, and community stakeholders.
- Sales & Negotiation: Skilled in presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing deals.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate market trends and develop proactive outreach strategies.
- Compliance Awareness: Strong knowledge of lending regulations and commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Solution Delivery: Proficient in tailoring financial solutions to meet complex member needs.
- Performance Orientation: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding market reach.
How You'll WorkRemote Work Environment: This role allows for remote work, with occasional on-site meetings at the Littleton Headquarters as required. This work environment is subject to change based on business needs.
CompensationPay Grade: 15
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Grade Range: $125,298 - $156,622
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted pay grade range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
