Were looking for a Commercial HVAC Superintendent who can lead from the front, run large-scale commercial HVAC projects, and set the production tempo for our field teams.
The Commercial HVAC Superintendent is the senior field leader responsible for:
- Owning onsite HVAC production
- Driving schedule performance
- Managing foremen and crews
- Coordinating with PMs and other trades
- Ensuring safety, quality, and accountability
Compensation: $36.00 - $42.00 hourly based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with ability to work weekends and out of town as needed.
Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Production- Lead multiple HVAC foremen and field crews
- Drive installation of ductwork, RTUs, split systems, exhaust systems, and specialty mechanical systems
- Maintain production pace aligned with project schedule
- Plan manpower and material flow proactively
- Hold crews accountable for daily measurable output
Project Execution- Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical plans
- Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other trades
- Run weekly production meetings with foremen
- Identify conflicts early and solve them before they impact schedule
- Oversee inspections and ensure work is ready before calling for inspection
Quality & Safety- Enforce OSHA standards and Kalos safety expectations
- Conduct site safety walks and toolbox talks
- Ensure installs meet code and design specifications
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
Culture & Accountability- Build a culture of ownership, discipline, and urgency
- Develop foremen into strong leaders
- Address performance issues immediately and professionally
Set the tone for attitude, professionalism, and execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC field experience
- 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent-level role
- Experience on large commercial projects (schools, retail, medical, hospitality, multi-family, etc.)
- Strong blueprint and mechanical plan reading skills
- Proven ability to manage manpower and drive schedule
- OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid drivers license
