  • Analyze waivers to protect company interests.
  • Cultivate and maintain high-level customer relations within the organization.
  • Oversee collections, including monitoring accounts receivable and initiating proceedings as necessary.

Commercial Credit Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA / Nashville, TN / Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8am-5pm - HYBRID

Compensation: Salary + bonus; based on experience

About the Role

The Commercial Credit Manager is responsible for working with a team of construction specialists to safeguard the company's revenue by minimizing bad debts.

YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
  • Previous commercial job experience or knowledge of lien laws
  • Previous experience in construction industry
  • 5 years + of Management experience or bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of lien laws
  • Basic understanding of finance policies
  • Strong analytical abilities and very high attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve disputes and make strategic credit decisions
  • Strong computer skills using Excel and other Microsoft software
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Willingness to travel when needed
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/English preferred but not required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining SouthernCarlson's lien rights
  • Team Leadership - Supervising job specialist and providing guidance
  • Monitoring Prelim software
  • Review status and monitor dates of Preliminary notices
  • Analyze waivers to assure SouthernCarlson is protected
  • Maintain favorable customer relations and provide high level of service to internal and external customers
  • Collection Oversight - Monitor Accounts receivable, initiating collection proceeding when needed to enforce lien rights
