Lead Commercial Construction. Build Relationships. Drive Growth

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of PD Construction to lead and grow our commercial construction division throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven construction leader who understands commercial remodeling, tenant improvements, and project delivery-and is ready to take the next step into divisional leadership.

We are looking for someone who brings more than construction expertise. The ideal candidate is a respected industry professional with an established local network, strong business relationships, and the ability to drive both operational excellence and business growth.

This role is ideal for a Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager or Commercial Project Executive who is ready to transition into a department leadership position.

What You'll Do:

Lead & Grow the Division
  • Provide strategic leadership for the PD Construction division, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, architects, and commercial clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives.


Oversee Commercial Construction Operations
  • Provide oversight for commercial remodeling and tenant improvement projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards.
  • Support project teams in resolving challenges and maintaining exceptional client experiences.


Drive Financial Performance
  • Monitor departmental budgets, forecasting, job costing, and profitability.
  • Review project financials, estimates, and contracts to ensure sound business decisions.
  • Implement strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and overall performance.


Develop High-Performing Teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capability to support current operations and future growth.


Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Existing network of commercial construction contacts throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
  • Experience with estimating, project management, and commercial construction operations.
