Position Summary:
Position Summary: The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing coordinate measuring machine programs to support dimensional inspection of aerospace components. This role plays a key part in ensuring inspection accuracy, product conformity, and manufacturing quality performance.
Position Responsibilities: - Relevant experience in 3D scanning and metrology
- Hands-on experience with Hexagon Absolute Arm, ROMER Arm, or portable CMMs
- Experience with laser scanning probes (RS6, AS1, etc.)
- Knowledge of GD&T, dimensional inspection, and quality control
- Experience with software such as:
- PC-DMIS
- PolyWorks
- CAM2
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant exp.
- Aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience; familiarity with common CMM software/scanning platforms and metrology best practices; experience supporting high-mix or fast-turnaround inspection environments.
The salary for this role is $70000 to $100000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
