Guidehouse is seeking Cloud & Web Development Engineers to support a federal government client in the design, development, modernization, and maintenance of mission-critical business applications. These positions will contribute to application modernization initiatives, operational support activities, and the continued enhancement of systems supporting workflow management, document management, and loan processing functions.

Successful candidates will work within an Agile environment alongside architects, engineers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions that support the agency's mission and strategic modernization objectives.

What You Will Do:
  • Design, develop, modernize, and maintain mission-critical applications supporting the U.S. Small Business Administration.
  • Develop full-stack web applications using Microsoft technologies and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and database integrations.
  • Support modernization of legacy applications to current .NET platforms and modern architectures.
  • Develop and support workflow management, document management, and loan processing applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and client stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile planning and software delivery activities.
  • Support DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation activities.
  • Contribute to technical design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.


What You Will Need:
  • Two (2)+ years of overall work experience.
  • Experience in software engineering.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with: C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, JavaScript, React, REST API development, Git source control, Agile software development practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
