Cloud Migration Product Owner
The Opportunity:

You know that Product Owners are a critical part of an engineering team's success and touch every single part of a migration and wear multiple hats: from caring for the client and their requirements and goals to participating in business development and being a key contributor to their employees' growth. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients modernize and migrate their critical mission systems to the cloud.

In this role, you'll work closely with clients to understand their missions and timelines, continuously communicate, and guide the migration of their systems. You'll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to support the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, implement metrics to track progress, manage project backlogs, lead sprint ceremonies, maintain project backlogs, and test new capabilities, while working together with your team to make a tangible difference.

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience leading or working with Agile teams in a technical or engineering environment
  • Experience working with Agile application development teams across the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with tools such as GitLab or Jira
  • Experience writing and managing issues such as epics user stories, tasks, developing clear, well-formed acceptance criteria and definitions of done, and managing backlogs
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe and how to apply them to application development efforts
  • Ability to lead development teams and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
