Cloud Engineer
The Opportunity:

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide the activities of junior employees.

You Have:
  • Experience with management of DoD cloud environments, including AWS
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments
  • Experience deploying applications into IL-4 or higher secure environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes, including RMF and ATO workflows
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and enterprise deployment teams
  • Experience supporting systems requiring formal accreditation and continuous monitoring of DoD Systems
  • Experience supporting IL-5 or IL-6 environments
  • Knowledge of container technologies, including AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Cloud cost optimization methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a Cyber related field
  • Completion of DoW 8140 requirements
  • Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Certification


Clearance:

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
