This member of the team combines deep expertise into Population Health data analytics and process improvement science to advance quadruple aim-focused clinical improvement initiatives that reduce provider burden and make population health tools easy to use and in high demand by physicians and care teams. Working in close partnership with a Clinical Transformation Lead, this position supports a continuous cycle of opportunity identification, prioritization, implementation support, and performance evaluation across the WellSpan ecosystem. Expected results include actionable market-leading insights, reliable measurement of quality and cost outcomes, and stronger organizational capability to make data-driven decisions that improve patient outcomes and total costs of care.
ResponsibilitiesDuties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:- Owns the development, validation, and maintenance of metrics and analytic methods that support population health, quality, and total cost of care objectives.
- Maintains expert knowledge of WellSpan information systems to query and integrate clinical, claims, and emerging data sources-including artificial intelligence and machine learning-enabled datasets and tools-to produce routine and ad hoc analyses related to utilization, clinical variation, and performance improvement opportunities.
- Partners with clinical, operational, and analytic stakeholders and end users to define data requirements, design metrics, and develop analytic tools and models that support population health and value-based care transformation initiatives.
- Builds and maintains business intelligence solutions, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights for service lines and leadership.
- In partnership with stakeholders, develops tools, models, and decision aids, and performs program evaluation and statistical analyses to measure the impact of clinical transformation initiatives.
- Develops financial and operational impact models summarizing systemwide progress toward population health and value-based care goals, including opportunity sizing, ROI projections, and cost-benefit analyses that inform planning and decision-making.
- Supports benchmarking and variation analyses using internal and external data to identify improvement opportunities and reduce unwarranted clinical variation.
- Develops and delivers regular reports and executive summaries that summarize system and service line progress toward quality, utilization, and total cost of care objectives.
- Collaborates with the Analytics Center of Excellence, data science, actuarial, and other technical teams to develop, govern, and advance enterprise analytics capabilities, including AI and machine learning applications.
- Monitors market, demographic, and utilization trends and translates findings into insights that inform operational and strategic planning.
- Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and appropriate validation in analytic outputs and supports stakeholders in interpreting results and measuring impact.
- Identifies opportunities to improve analytic processes, data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytic sophistication, contributing to continuous advancement of population health analytics capabilities.

QualificationsQualificationsMinimum Education:- Bachelors Degree Required
- Masters Degree In related field. Preferred
Work Experience:- 3 years Experience in business or financial analysis, with strong understanding of data structures. Required and
- 3 years Experience in Healthcare Management, Change Management, or Population Health. Required
- 3 years Experience with BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) reporting software, and coding languages (SQL, Python/R). Preferred
- Experience with analytic methods such as Monte Carlo simulation, What-if Analyses and other excel macros. Preferred
