Salary Range: $84,000.00 - $122,000.00

Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting end-user classroom training and developing eLearning and other training materials. The Clinical Systems Instructor is responsible for setting up the training classes and for quality control, including administering a proficiency assessment and a class evaluation at the end of each session. The Clinical Systems Instructor works closely with other instructors and analysts to improve training effectiveness through classroom feedback. The Clinical Systems Instructor will also actively support operational areas to address on-going training needs, as well as participate in other project related activities as needed. The Clinical Systems Instructor's work schedule is dictated by training and support needs and by the requirement to train in multiple applications.

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent of 5 years of clinical healthcare experience. A clinical certifications (i.e., LVN, MA, etc.) perfered.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Healthcare-related field, Business, or Information Technology preferred.

Experience:
  • Minimum one year combined experience in training and support of computerized solution implementation in a healthcare discipline, or other equivalent experience in a healthcare setting preferred (i.e., Super User of a software solution).
  • Experience with classroom instruction, group presentations, and individual training. Working knowledge of training delivery applications.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems. Familiar with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft web applications, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to attend out-of-state training and become certified in one or more Epic applications for training and applications supported. Must maintain required certifications.
  • Excellent coordinator to address resource scheduling needs of an active training environment.
