Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor provides pharmaceutical care services to in-patient and out-patients. Provides professional drug information/advice to other health professionals. Dispenses medications and IV additive solutions and directs the routine activities of technicians. Accurately maintains legally required and other departmental records and assists in inventory control measures.

Education/Experience:
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school or College of Pharmacy.
  • Three (3) to six (6) months of on-the-job-experience is required to properly acquire a professional level of knowledge in pharmacy, acquire a working knowledge of legal standards and guidelines pertaining to pharmacy services, and acquire a working knowledge of inventory control and record keeping systems.
  • Be able to develop suitable interpersonal skills.
  • Current license as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Indiana (or eligible for reciprocity). (Requires fulfilling continuing education requirements - 30 c.e.u. every 2 years to maintain license).
