Summary
Clinical Staff Pharmacists are responsible and accountable for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. Through various assignments within the department, they provide support of centralized and decentralized medication use systems as well as deliver optimal medication therapy to patients with a broad range of disease states.
All pharmacists are responsible for drug preparation and distribution for medications; evaluating, inputting and verification of medication orders; assisting providers and other health care professionals by serving as a drug information resource; monitoring and managing medication regimens per protocol or per consult; and managing pharmacy inventory.

distribution for medications; evaluating, inputting and verification of medication orders; assisting providers

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
Board Certification required
3 years hospital experience and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy residency
