Full Job Description
About The Role

We are seeking a rigorous and strategic Clinical Science Lead to serve as the scientific backbone of NeverStop - a mission-driven wellness platform helping people age well. We take a holistic approach to aging, supporting physical resilience, cognitive health, emotional wellbeing, and long-term functional independence.

This is more than a research role. You'll translate complex wellness and health data into actionable product logic - owning our risk reduction metrics, AI-driven guardrails, and the clinical evidence that makes our outcomes provable to partners and carriers. You'll combine the analytical mindset of an epidemiologist or outcomes researcher with a business-oriented, cross-functional approach to deliver real clinical impact.

What You'll Be Working On:
  • Measurement & risk metrics Design the system that translates member data into clinical
risk scores - defining what "better" looks like and making it provable.
  • Clinical safety & guardrails Define the boundaries that keep the AI coach off medical advice - escalation logic, safety thresholds, and clinical grid governance.
  • Clinical feature logic Define the algorithmic and clinical logic behind our product features - intervention matching, domain weighting, and recommendation engine - in close collaboration with product and engineering.
  • Scientific validation The scientific authority on what goes into the product -
evidence standards and the evidentiary foundation behind every clinical claim.
  • Thought leadership White papers, carrier outcome reports, and industry positioning
that translate our clinical rigor into external credibility.

What are we looking for:
  • Advanced degree (M.Sc./M.A. with thesis or PhD) in one of the following fields - Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Neuroscience, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in digital health, outcomes research, or health economics- including mandatory experience working inside a fast-paced commercial/startup company where health/Wellness is the core product.
  • Proven experience as a sole functional owner ('team of one'), leading through influence
across Product and R&D to deliver clinical validation at startup speed
  • Experience in productizing clinical ideas and frameworks and bringing them to market.
  • Proven experience designing clinical measurement frameworks, risk reduction metrics,
    or psychometric instruments.
  • Highly comfortable working with large datasets; hands-on familiarity with Python or R for metric deep-dives and data analysis is a distinct advantage.
  • Understanding of health insurance dynamics, risk models, or disability/occupational
    risk frameworks- an advantage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (fluent English)
  • Passionate about wellness!

Location

We're hiring this role in either our Needham (Greater Boston area), MA
(on a need basis office presence) or Ramat Gan, Israel office (3 days/week hybrid).

Occasional travel between sites is required.
