Responsibilities

  • Attend first cases with new agents or doctors to support onboarding and retention

  • Participate in trade shows and local meetings as directed by leadership
  • Serve as a liaison between the field and corporate departments for operational needs
  • Provide necessary literature or materials to sales agents as required
  • Facilitate scheduling and logistics for labs and training sessions
  • Gather and report feedback on product performance and customer complaints
  • Conduct in-field sales activities focusing on revenue generation and customer targeting
  • Contribute to strategic sales initiatives to drive market growth

Clinical Sales Specialist

Business Unit Description:

Foot and Ankle

The Clinical Sales Specialist will be part of the Foot and Ankle team. The incumbent will have an active role in driving growth across the US and have the opportunity to establish key customer relationships as well as consult with surgeons in the operating room as it pertains to the use of our foot and ankle solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.

  • Attend first cases with either new agents or new doctors or lost doctors or "doctors at risk" as determined by the Sales Leadership Team

  • Assist with surgeon sawbones or cadaver labs

  • Assist distributors and representatives with sales calls on all product lineswithin Foot & Ankle

  • Staff all trade shows, regional or local meetings as determined by the leadership team

  • Act as a field liaison to the corporate office for marketing, R&D, operations, customer service including:

  • Assist in providing literature or materials as needed by agents or representatives

  • Assist in scheduling, sourcing materials and staffing labs

  • Provide product feedback or product complaints

  • Training & execution of technical product sales

  • In-field sales: Pipelining, targeting, prospecting, and executing calls driving revenue & growth

  • Support downstream strategic sales initiatives

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have prior orthopedic experience (Foot & Ankle highlypreferred)

  • 3+ yearsexperience in the operating room(preferred)

  • 5 years of quota-based sales experience(preferred)

Travel Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Drivers License and current automobile insurance

  • Working conditions are field-based. Work may require frequent travel; up to 75%

  • Typical work-related travel assignments range 1-5 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required

  • Position requires car and air travel on a routine basis

  • Works in the field with customers, Regional Sales Representatives, a minimum of 60% of the work week

  • Weekend travel

Desired Characteristics:

  • Prior experience within Foot & Ankle

  • Experience in healthcare industry or medical sales

  • Experience working with distributors

  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third-party reimbursement
