  • Identify and pursue upselling and customer satisfaction opportunities post-sale.
  • Facilitate trade-ins and negotiations for system purchases.
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region.
  • Liaise between KOLs and the company to provide market feedback and insights.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Accuray solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to guide customer-focused processes.
  • Collaborate to ensure comprehensive regional coverage and enhance sales presentations.

REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT: 

Reports to the VP of Sales

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a sales growth strategy in the assigned territory and implement or support deal-by-deal strategic plans to achieve business objectives
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance for the company's systems, including explaining the technical and clinical aspects of the products and their benefits to customers and prospects during the sales process.
  • Conduct effective and professional product demonstrations and evaluations for potential customers and existing users, highlighting the clinical value and differentiation of the company's solutions.
  • Following the initial system sale, identify and pursue opportunities for customer improvement and satisfaction, as well as upselling and cross-selling.
  • Facilitate trade-in and trade-up deals and assist with system purchase contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Manage key KOL relationships in the region, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the company.
  • Act as a liaison between the KOLs and the company, providing feedback and insights on market trends and customer needs.
  • Function as SME on all Accuray solutions to competitively position Accuray for integration into short- and long-term customer plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Development, Marketing, Training, Clinical Applications and Physics support) to develop and maintain high quality communication to disseminate the voice of the customer/potential customer to guide processes.
  • Collaborate with RSD’s and RSA’s to cover entire region map, including supplemental cold calling to generate sales presentations and to increase overall map coverage

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred or Desired:
    • 5+ years’ experience working in a clinical Radiation Oncology healthcare facility.  Medical Physics, dosimetry, radiation therapy background strongly preferred.
    • 3+ years in Medical Device sales, sales specialist or marketing role.   Experience in a team-oriented solution selling environment strongly preferred.
    • Hands on experience with CyberKnife, Radixact, or Multiplan/Precision TPS preferred.
  • Required:
    • Expert knowledge in both Radixact, Cyberknife, and/or competing technologies.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Radiological Sciences (Medical Physics, Dosimetry, or Radiation Therapy)
    • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
