Job Description

Seeking motivated individual who enjoys multidisciplinary projects that involve collaboration and teamwork. The position holder will work closely with faculty in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the Center for Inherited Oncogenesis to support clinical research studies. Experience in women's health will be an asset, but is not essential for candidates with other relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Research department staff on a daily basis to include establishing goals, priorities and expected performance level of the team Lead and deploy team for efficiency to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure safety practices & protocols are followed.
  • Manage the start up and oversight of clinical research projects as well as monitoring budget, researches, and recommends and purchases equipment.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the research team.
  • Manage project resource needs such as enrolling patients, collecting biospecimens, protocol review, and regulatory forms.
  • Maintains research databases to include ensuring procedures, documents and study files are prepared, maintained and executed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures Tracks progress and completion of projects.
  • Participates in the recruitment process for staff.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned


Education:

Can take 9 years of research coordination/related experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
