The primary purpose of the Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health ) position is to provide individual and/or group therapy to assess acute mental health conditions.Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health)Salary Range: $106,437 - $138,370 per yearBenefits: https://civilianmedicaljobs.com/benefits/Responsibilities- Make mental health diagnoses in accordance with the most recent version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) when differential diagnosis is required.
- Provide individual and group treatment using evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- Perform PCMH biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
- Evaluate clinical records and monitors all objective instrument administration and scoring for quality assurance.
QualificationsUS Citizenship requiredDoctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
