Job Overview

The Clinical Placement Manager provides operational leadership for clinical education and placement activities across the Berkley School of Nursing's pre-licensure and graduate programs. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Education and Partnerships, this role oversees Clinical Placement Specialists, manages day-to-day clinical placement operations, and cultivates clinical site partnerships to ensure timely, compliant, and student-centered learning experiences.

Ensuring effective execution of established priorities, the Manager implements workflows, performance standards, and accountability measures, and collaborates with academic leadership, faculty, and clinical partners to align placements with program requirements, regulatory standards, and institutional priorities. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality clinical learning experiences are secured that support student success, program effectiveness, and sustainable growth.

Work Interactions

This position reports to the Director of Clinical Education and Partnerships and directly supervises a team of approximately 6-8 Clinical Placement Coordinators. The Manager collaborates with the Clinical Faculty Director to align clinical placements with curriculum requirements and student progression needs. The role works closely with clinical site administrators and preceptors to support placement quality, capacity, and ongoing partnership engagement. Internally, the Manager partners with Student Affairs, Compliance, and Academic Affairs to ensure student readiness and regulatory adherence. The role also collaborates with operational and administrative teams to support data tracking, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$66,783.00 - $126,720.23

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
