What We're Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team! The Clinical Pharmacist will assist the Clinical Pharmacy Director in providing pharmacy clinical services. The Clinical Pharmacist will aid clinical pharmacy management and pharmacy benefits administration, helping to ensure the program requirements are met, including Medication Reconciliation programs and provider outreach. The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for providing a range of clinical support to internal departments, through educational programs and participation in multidisciplinary case reviews.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Assist the Clinical Pharmacy Director in providing clinical oversight for the development and implementation of the pharmacy program plan for clinical services.
  • Evaluate medication reconciliations and provide Medication Management referrals, education, and outreach to Care Management, providers, and members.
  • Assist pharmacy team members with pharmacy related information/projects.
  • Support/perform educational activities for Trillium colleagues, providers, and members when necessary.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of cost-effective pharmacy programs, including management of the formulary; utilization management programs; and responding to internal questions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or higher degree in Pharmacy.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience as a pharmacist.
  • Registered pharmacist in the State of North Carolina with a current North Carolina pharmacist license.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.


Preferred:

  • Medicaid pharmacy benefits management experience.
