JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSScheduled Weekly Hours: 40
- Eight-hour shifts between 6am and 7pm with alternating weekends.
Job Summary: Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of the clinical program. This will be accomplished through collaboration with the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacy Operations Manager, AVP Pharmacy, staff pharmacists, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals. Performs all functions relating to the dispensing of medications, including the provision of information about dosing, side effects, and compatibilities for all patients ranging from neonates to geriatric.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree. Must be licensed in the State of Louisiana. Obtain at least 15 ACPE approved education hours per year recommended. PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency OR 3 years experience as Clinical Pharmacist preferred.
Physical Demands:Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
