Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift between the hours of 7am-6pm. Includes an on call rotation.
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Oncology to:
• Provide comprehensive medication management for patients receiving cancer therapy, collaborating with the multidisciplinary oncology care team to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Deliver individualized patient and caregiver education on anticancer therapies, including treatment expectations, administration, adherence, toxicity monitoring, and self-management strategies.
• Provide evidence-based supportive care management and education for symptom prevention and treatment, including nausea/vomiting, pain, infection risk, and other treatment-related adverse effects.
• Practice through delegation protocols to manage chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, electrolyte imbalance, potential chemotherapy toxicities, and achieve therapeutic drug levels.
• Serve as a preceptor, mentor, and educator for pharmacy students, residents, and other learners, fostering progressive development of clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and professional skills in oncology practice.
• Ensure appropriate utilization of medications to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree Required
Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency training program Preferred
Work Experience
1 year of clinical patient care and orders management experience Required
3 years of institutional experience (hospital or integrated health system) or completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program Preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree Required
Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency training program Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin within 90 Days Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days Required
Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.) Preferred
