Qualifications

  • Completion of pharmacokinetics training program
  • Licensed registered pharmacist in the U.S. or eligible for Texas license
  • ACPE Accredited Sterile Compounding Certification or compliant with TSBP sterile compounding regulations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience including residency training

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical tasks to ensure high-quality pharmacy care
  • Engage in patient care settings to enhance pharmaceutical outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use
  • Monitor patient therapy and assess medication effectiveness
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on medication therapy

Job Purpose
  • To perform professional, clinical tasks that will ensure the highest quality of pharmacy care and results in a patient care setting.


Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Successful completion of pharmacokinetics training program

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the United States, or current Texas State Board of Pharmacy or eligible
  • ACPE Accredited Sterile Compounding Certification or meets any TSBP regulation regarding sterile compounding
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association, preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1 year - inclusive of residency training (Residency Training - PGY1 = 3yrs experience, PGY2 = 2yrs experience)
