Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, compounding and dispensing medications, and providing drug information to patients and healthcare providers. The pharmacist also completes other duties as assigned and operates with moderate supervision, exercising independent judgment as needed.
This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations. In the Assistant Director absence, the pharmacist reports to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager or pharmacist in charge and may assume the pharmacist in charge role when necessary. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as this role requires working across multiple sites to support pharmacy operations and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Maryland
- Certified by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy to provide vaccinations preferably upon hire and required within six (6) months of hire
- Active CPR certification
- At least two years retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a Pharm.D. degree or B.S.
- Residency preferred
Salary Range: Minimum 55.41/hour - Maximum 91.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
