Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day/evening. AM Shifts Ranging 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; PM Shifts 11:00 am - 9:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 12:00 am. Occasional overnights may be required. Weekend and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Join our team of respected experts in medication therapy management.

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to:
  • Work as a part of an interdisciplinary team to assure that drug therapy is safe, effective, efficient, and cost-effective for patients in the emergency department
  • Work with a diverse patient population including acute care neurology patients
  • Provide training and education to pharmacy residents and PharmD students through practical and didactic experiences.
  • The ideal candidate will have emergency medicine experience. Preference given to candidates who have completed a PGY2 in emergency medicine or have equivalent work experience in an emergency medicine setting.

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days Required
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) within 180 Days Required
  • Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.) Preferred
