About the Role
The Clinical Manager is responsible for directly supervising clinical staff and overseeing services at a designated site to ensure mental health treatment is delivered in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. This role includes oversight of individual and group counseling services, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations, and supporting recovery-oriented care for youth and families. The position is part of the Kickstart program, which focuses on early intervention and prevention of psychosis for individuals ages 10 to 25.

Responsibilities
• Oversees all aspects of clinical services within the clinic
• Consults regularly with leadership regarding program performance and needs
• Facilitates staff meetings and provides treatment team leadership
• Provides direct client care including individual, family, and group therapy, discharge planning, and communication with parents and referral sources
• Coordinates with external clinicians, medical director, and nursing staff on treatment and medication needs
• Completes and submits required reports including Quality Assurance documentation
• Conducts utilization reviews and ensures proper documentation for program clients
• Collaborates with Program Director on clinical program development and service delivery
• Audits client charts for compliance and accuracy in documentation
• Provides consultation and education to community organizations and agencies
• Participates in program development and supports staff with complex cases and psychiatric emergencies
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
• Supports department budgeting and may assist in budget development
• Performs administrative duties aligned with program needs
• Attends staff and planning meetings as required
• Transports clients as needed using personal vehicle
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution

• Strong leadership, clinical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer proficiency
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Valid California driver's license, auto insurance, and proof of education required
