Position Summary:

Joining our leadership team at Vida Guidance Center- Urban Health Plan's Article-31 Mental Health Clinic- we are seeking a dynamic new Clinical Lead Manager (LCSW or Ph.D/Psy.D). As the Clinical Lead Manager, you will support the Director of Vida Guidance Center with the success of our center, while serving as a support for the direct clinical supervision of therapists (LMSW, LMHC, LCATs) on the team. The Clinical Lead Manager provides clinical and operational oversight to ensure high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services at VIDA Guidance Center. This role supervises staff, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, access, and overall program performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work required at minimum.
  • NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or NYS Licensed Psychologist
  • Bilingual English and Spanish are strongly preferred to best serve our patient populations.
  • 5+ years of proven expertise in clinical therapy with the ability to clinically supervise other professionals (ideal background in article-31 setting)
  • Strong familiarity with diagnosis, mental health treatment, and evident based modality.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance needs within ambulatory settings.


Key Duties:
  • Provides clinical supervision and support for staff; monitoring performance standards and supporting needs.
  • Ensures documentation compliance in accordance with OMH standards.
  • Supports team-based approach to assure highest delivery of care outcomes
  • Provides timely and appropriate assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment intervention of patients, Coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensures appropriate selection of treatment modality to patient's presenting problem.
  • Determines urgency of patient's need. Provides treatment for children, adolescents, adults and elderly.
  • Provides clinical consultation in an integrated health care environment regarding family interactions, socio-cultural determinants & community resources.
  • Consults with Program Director and/or Psychiatrist on individual patients who do not improve and participate in clinical decision "making for stepped-up care and referral.
  • Maintain and build linkages with Mental Health Institutions, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Services, Hospitals and other community resources.
  • Participate in QM and CQI activities
  • Acts as a resource to other UHP providers. Collaborates with physicians and other providers to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs that patients can understand and comply with.
  • Manages decision to admission, waitlist and other Article 31 regulatory requirements.
  • Helps oversee the line staff to assure that all processes are followed accordingly


Starting Compensation:

Minimum $100,000 per year; Maximum $115,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

The position is onsite- 5 day/week schedule Monday to Friday schedule in Bronx, NY for 40 regular hours per week. Parking Space reserved for this position!!
