Clinical Director - Substance Use Services

SeaView Community Services | Seward, Alaska

SeaView Community Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Director - Substance Use Services to provide clinical and operational leadership for our comprehensive addiction treatment continuum, including Residential (ASAM 3.5), PHP, IOP, Outpatient, and Recovery Housing programs.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and supervise multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Ensure high-quality, evidence-based treatment across all substance use programs.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Monitor program quality, compliance, and accreditation standards.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and program growth.
  • Foster a therapeutic community culture focused on accountability, recovery, and respect.
  • Build collaborative relationships with community partners and referral sources.

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Alaska clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Five years of clinical behavioral health experience.
  • Three years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Preferred
  • Residential treatment leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of ASAM Criteria, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and Medicaid behavioral health regulations.
  • Experience with accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.
