Clinical DirectorAiken, SCAs Clinical Director, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional, patient-centered care while supporting and developing the clinical team that serves them. Working closely with the Administrator, you will help oversee clinical operations, promote regulatory and clinical excellence, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and compassion.This is an opportunity for an experienced RN leader who enjoys being actively involved in patient care, developing clinical teams, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.
What You'll Do:Clinical Leadership & Operations- Assist the Administrator with the oversight and management of day-to-day clinical operations.
- Help ensure the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Monitor clinical services to ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accountability for the overall accuracy and quality of clinical documentation.
- Analyze clinical and operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Provide direct case management services to an assigned patient caseload.
- Oversee and support the delivery of skilled home health services.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure patient and staffing needs are consistently met.
Team Leadership & Development- Coordinate clinical team activities, including scheduling, training, coaching, and staff support.
- Assist with field staff orientation, onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
- Provide education and coaching related to clinical skills, medications, documentation, and patient care.
- Promote accountability, efficiency, and effective time management across the nursing team.
- Monitor continuing education hours for Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with Nuclear Care Partners' mission, vision, and values.
Patient & Provider Collaboration- Advocate for patient needs and facilitate communication among field staff, nursing leadership, management, clients, and other healthcare providers.
- Partner with physicians, pharmacies, other healthcare facilities, and outside providers to coordinate patient care.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff and assist with complex patient and care-management needs.
- Remain available to staff during agency operating hours and provide support for clinical emergencies after hours.
- Participate in the agency's on-call rotation.
Documentation & Administrative Support- Assist with chart clearing and other payroll approval requirements for assigned staff.
- Educate staff regarding payroll and clinical documentation requirements, including differential entries, non-billable entries, mileage, and other required documentation.
- Support accurate and timely completion of clinical and administrative records.
What You Bring:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of South Carolina.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Five (5) years of RN experience preferred.
- Three (3) years of home health or home care experience preferred.
- One (1) year of supervisory or clinical leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, clinicians, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading and supporting a clinical team.
